Spring Knolls offers special interest classes each afternoon from 12:10 p.m.–3:00 p.m., as part of our full day class offerings.

Classes vary each session (Fall, Winter and Spring) so there’s always something exciting in store. From engineering experiments to drip paintings, students will be enriched by the wide world of STEAM and all the excitement that science, technology, engineering, art, and math have to offer. The afternoon program is staffed with a lead teacher, who is supported by staff aides, as necessary, to maintain our high standards for staff:student ratio. Spaces may be available for drop-ins (requires approval) on a week-to-week basis.

STEAM students join their friends attending Lunch Bunch for the 12:10p.m.–1:30 period, then continue into the afternoon with the scheduled enrichment activity (45 minutes), and finish the day with supervised play and quiet story/rest time.
